Wood Burned and Wired is an art shop run by me, Tabitha. All of my work is made by hand, with a lot of heart and soul put into my pieces. I create using reclaimed wood for my pieces as often as possible, fitting unexpected trinkets into my jewelry, and doing as much of the designing process as I can on my own.

What does this mean for my art style?

Each and every piece is unique and hand finished. I try to find my own wood, then cut and sand it as needed. I do the drawing, wood burning, coloring, and sealing for all my pieces. 

When it comes to my chainmaille, I do the coiling, cutting, and connecting for each and every jump ring used.

As for my my wire wrapped jewelry, it tends to feature found, natural items, such as river rocks, seashells, and agates, and occasionally recycling old trinkets into new art.
